Aluminum cutouts depict students holding lollipop signs that read "Think before you park." They aim to stop drivers from blocking or installing sidewalks, reducing safe access to schools.
The new initiative, funded by Smarter Choices, Smarter Places, also promotes active travel, encouraging students to walk or bike to school, which in turn will reduce nearby traffic congestion and air pollution.
Aberdeenshire Council's head of environment and sustainability, Iwan Wallace, explained that the parking partner will help protect students at the school.
"Student safety is paramount to us, and we hope these parking partners - combined with existing off-campus traffic safety measures and classroom-based safety awareness courses - will help protect children in the future," he said.
